The Sabina area is famous for its rich culinary traditions. During the year, only a few kilometres from the Corlando Tre farm, exhibitions, markets and town fairs animate the territory. In particular, Collevecchio is famous for the Carnival Procession for the dead in March, the Tart festival in mid-June during which the Housewives of the area prepare their specialities to be tasted by the passersby and the Panpepato (type of cake) festival, which is held between the second and third week of December.
However, Sabina, above all, is known for its Oil. Olive growing in Sabina is a thousand-year old tradition; at Corlando Tre and in surrounding areas the famous Sabina Oil P.O.D. is made, which is the basic ingredient of many tasty recipes of the area.
Guests of the Corlando Tre farm can also visit the Sabina Oil Museum in Castelnuovo di Farfa, less than 30 kilometres away. The Olive Museum is one of a kind: once inside it is possible to visit a section in which five internationally renowned artists have created works of art that, from music to sculpture, celebrate oil as a tradition of modern day society. The primary location is in the sixteenth century Perelli Palace, but the route of access extends to the entire medieval village to the old mill and the church of San Donato, dating back to the IX century.
